Welcome to the Smith River 3v3 Summer Sizzler (July 9)
The World Futbol Tour is proud to announce the Smith River 3v3 Summer Sizzler on July 9 at the Smith River Soccer Complex in Martinsville, VA. This 1-day 3v3/5v5 event is a qualifier for the 3v3 & 5v5 World Cup II to be held in Atlanta on August 6-7, 2011.
We are making the tour better for our players and teams:
- Smaller fields to encourage more creativity, more touches, more learning opportunities
- U6-U7 ages will play "festival style" with no scores posted, more about fun and development
- Introduction of the Soccer Corral Field System for U6-U14 ages providing more playing time
- Introduction of 5v5 for the HS-Adult divisions provides a natural progression for small sided futbol
- Online Check-in is now an optional feature to avoid having to arrive early and then waiting in line
Teams (U9-Adults) will earn points towards qualifying for the State 3v3/5v5 Champions Cup in 2011 and seeding for the 3v3 & 5v5 WC II through our World Futbol Tour National/State Ranking System. We encourage teams registering for the first time with the WFT and sincsports, to set up their unique Team Page with their club logo/colors and team photo. The Team Page will be your identity throughout the tour and will maintain the results from tournament to tournament. It is important that teams select the correct level to register the team for: Gold (highly competitive) or Silver (competitive).
It is the mission of the World Futbol Tour to grow a national soccer tour that not only enhances the enjoyment of the great game of futbol (soccer), but also enhances the skills required to become a true "futboller". We will accomplish this by creating premium small sided events that will be guided by core values that include quality, integrity and innovation.

» Top 8 teams in each division from the State Rankings qualify for the *State Champions Cup (NC, SC, GA)
* AL, TN, VA Champions Cup will be open competitions

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Fees are non-refundable after deadline. If tournament is postponed, fees are maintained for rescheduled date or transferable to another World Futbol Tour event.
