Hello Boston Patriots Families,

Happy New Year and we hope all is well.  First and foremost, thank you to all the families who helped with the 2021 season, it's amazing that we were able to pull off the season with all the bumps along the way without being paused.  We are all looking forward to a better and healthier 2022 Season!

📌Regarding the end of season banquet, as some of you are aware, the board has decided to forego the formal banquet. Many good ideas were tossed around and discussed but, in the end, we decided on an informal gathering   We are planning an informal get together for our 2021 football & cheer participants, to be held in the spring.  More to follow on that.

Please know, this was just discussed at our OATKA meeting last week and other little loop teams in our area have canceled their banquet with no plans to host any end of season celebrations for their athletes and some had pizza to celebrate.  We had some great suggestions on venues from some families, and will be considered for next season, unfortunately the 2021 season will be celebrated at the informal gathering in the spring.

📌 Next item, the raffle tickets.  The raffle will go on, it will be held on Facebook live, Bill Frascella will be handling the drawing.  For those families who were not able to connect with their team mom and still have the raffle tickets, you can mail those in.  Please mail to: Boston Patriots C/O Gomolka Family at 6097 Thornwood Drive, Hamburg NY or just put them in the mailbox.  We have extended the date for you to turn in your tickets; please mail by February 2nd.  Once tickets are received, Bill will post on Facebook the date of the Raffle.  Any raffle related questions, please contact Bill at:  [email protected]

📌 Volunteer refunds, will be mailed out shortly, our treasurer is working on that right now.  We are looking into a better way to hand out the volunteer refunds for the next season.

📌Lastly our board meetings are open to all participants as are our financials.  Any member wishing to attend, please send an email to the board, just so you can get the date, time and location of our meeting.  In addition to that, any concerns or questions concerning the Boston Patriots should be addressed to the entire board in an email, and not just to one board member. Currently, we do have open board positions, any interests, please let us know.
