Age Divisions
Only the following ages will be offered this Fall 2010 Recreation season:
U4 "Tiny Canes" (Birth date must fall between 8-1-06 to 12-31-07)
U6 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-04 to 7-31-06)
U7 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-03 to 7-31-04)
U8 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-02 to 7-31-03)
*U11 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-99 to 7-31-02)
*U14 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-96 to 7-31-99)
*Please remember that at the U10-U14 age groups, PYSL reserves the right to combine age groups to provide games
Understand that playing outside of your age group is not allowed in Recreation play.
Cost and Expense
PYSL operates two separate seasons each year.
Fall season $55 (September to mid-November)
Spring season $55 (mid-March to mid-May)
Fees include jersey, shorts, socks, county participation fee, insurance, administration, field maintenance, field equipment, coaching equipment, and staff.
Training
Please see below for age-group-specific practice time allowances. Practice locations and times are determined by each individual team’s coach.

Competition
All games are "in-house", or within PYSL for U4-U14. All Recreation program games are held at Smith River Complex.
Coaching Staff
PYSL has a Director of Coaching which oversees coaching education and coach placement. The Developmental Program coaching staff is strictly volunteer/parent coaches. Parent participation is encouraged and professional instruction is provided at the start of each season.
