As a continuation of our going "GREEN IN THE SPRING 2010" theme, the opening of our Martinsville office marks a new chapter in the history of PYSL. Equipped with wireless internet and a computer station, we are now able to offer our members without internet the opportunity to register their children online. The office will be the central location for all PYSL business functions, and includes a conference room for Board and committee meetings. All correspondence and transactions will take place at this one location, streamlining the management and administration of the club. The office will also be the place to purchase PYSL gear and merchandise such as sweatshirts, t-shirts, sack bags, and soccer balls.
The office will be managed and maintained by Director of Coaching Enda Crehan and the new Recreation Operations Manager Patrick Hughes. Patrick graduated Magna Cum Laude from Averett University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and was the senior captain on the Averett Men’s Soccer team that reached the conference semifinals in the 2009 season. He will be taking over management of our Recreation department, and will be present every Saturday for all Recreation play dates, while continually working to improve and expand the Recreation program as a whole.
Our office is located at 107 Jones Street, right off of Commonwealth Blvd. Our new office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m to 3 p.m, and our phone number is 276-666-6201. From Commonwealth Blvd going towards Martinsville Hospital.........turn right at Carter Bank & Trust (across from Liberty Fair Mall / McDonalds).....Go past US Cellular to stoplight....PYSL office is tan building on right (old Hooker Printing office).
From Highway 58 (Church Street)... turn right at Hooker Road and proceed to where Hooker meets Fairy....turn right on Fairy and take an immediate left onto Commonwealth Blvd.... proceed to third stoplight and take a left.... office is up the hill in the tan building on the right.
