Richmond, VA, Dynamo SC has been around since 2006 and has steadily grown each year.  PYSL has been around for over 30 years and has been the sole provider of soccer in the Martinsville/Henry County area.  PYSL and Dynamo SC are sharing management practices to improve the quality of development in both areas.  Overseen by Commonwealth Soccer Programs, Dynamo has become a model of steady progress and growth.  Commonwealth Soccer Program owners Steve Lovgren and Shawn Martin have brought new ideas to our club, and have set up the Piedmont Shootout and Martinsville Madness tournaments which will now occur on a yearly basis.  The smoothly operated Piedmont Shootout packed the new Smith River Complex in its first year.  A tribute to the PYSL board and its volunteers.

Since the beginning of the PYSL-Dynamo partnership we have increased the size of our recreation and travel programs, began playing our games at the best facility in Southern Virginia (Smith River Complex), established a new office where our club can better conduct business, hosted coaching education courses, and increased the size of our administrative staff.  We are currently working closely with Dynamo SC and Commonwealth Soccer Programs to market our Spring seasons, and to push the Martinsville Madness tournament to the mid-Atlantic region.  The PYSL travel teams will be attending the Capital Cup, a Dynamo tournament, on Memorial Day weekend. 

As this partnership grows larger and stronger, we can only imagine what good things lay ahead of this club and our players.
