The 12th Annual Piedmont Shootout was hosted at the Smith River Sports Complex in Axton, Va. on November 13 - 15, 2020 to complete the fall travel soccer season for PYSL.

 

PYSL hosted 40 teams from across 3 states in the season finale tournament. PYSL finished the tournament with two division champions, the PYSL 02 Boys in the U19 Boys bracket and PYSL 06 Girls in the U15 Girls bracket.

 

Other bracket winners included: Salem Sabres in the U11 Boys division, Legacy FC in the U12 Boys, Salem Sabres U13 in the U14 Boys, Legacy FC in the U16 Boys, NCFC United in the U12 Girls and VISTA Freedom FC in the U19 Girls.

 

The PYSL travel program also had 3 teams win their division in the Skyline Club Soccer League that began in August, with the 05 Boys, 06 Boys and 06 Girls winning their division. The nine travel program teams finished with a combined record of 37 wins -14 losses -16 draws.

 

Preparations are now underway for the 2021 spring recreation, academy and travel seasons. Registration will open at the beginning of the new year for each program.
