UPDATED: Spring 2021 Travel Tryout Date Announced

The Piedmont Youth Soccer League has announced 2021 spring season travel soccer tryouts will be held at the Smith River Sports Complex on January 23, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tryouts will be open to boys and girls born from 2006 to 2010.

Each age group will be separated to keep the number of kids participating in drills together low, due to COVID-19, as well as to give the kids more opportunities. This will also keep players competing against others of similar size, age and ability.

Players wishing to tryout for the 09 Coed team and 07 Boys team will need to be at the tryout from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. then players trying out for the 06 Boys or 06 Girls will participate from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The 09 Coed team is open to boys or girls born in 2009 and 2010. The 07 Boys team is for boys born in 2007 or 2008. The 06 Boys team is for boys born in 2006, some exceptions may be made depending on numbers for boys born in 2007. The 06 Girls team is open to girls born in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Players should pre-register at PYSLsoccer.net before attending the tryout.
