Those wishing to register for the Fall 2026 PYSL Recreation season should register online or download a registration form, complete it, and return to Logan Jones, Director of Programs at Smith River Sports Complex. The address is 1000 Irisburg Rd. Axton, VA 24054.

To register for the 2026 PYSL Fall Recreation Season, please complete the steps below.

1. Go to www.pyslsoccer.net

2. Click register on the top right hand side if you are a new customer. If you are a returning customer, click on log in and sign in with your id and password and skip to step 5.

3. If you are a new customer, fill in all parent information and click on “create new account”. Remember, the parent is the customer. Proceed on to entering primary contact information and hit “next”.

4. Once you get to “Add new participant” this is the player’s information, fill in all of the proper information and proceed by hitting “next”.

5. At the “My Account” screen, click the check box next to your player (should be green with Available Programs). 2026 PYSL Spring Recreational Season should appear as an available program for your player. Click on the “Register” next to the player’s proper age group (If your player is in U12, that player would be in U12 for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 seasons). Finally, hit “Continue”.

6. Click on next and continue to fill in the proper waiver forms and contact information. You should see a “$80.00” next to pay in full, or a "$65.00" if you are registering for Tiny Canes. Click on “Continue”.

7. Continue to click on “Continue” until reaching the “Registration Order Summary” page. You will also receive a confirmation email once registration is completed.

2026 PYSL Fall Recreation Season

PYSL teams in the Recreation program, driven by volunteer coaches like parents and former soccer players, are for both boys and girls, ages 3-15 years old. The goals of this program are centered around the joy of playing soccer and providing a fun atmosphere where the child can play and grow. The recreation program is centered upon volunteer coaches who spend their time teaching kids how to play soccer. We highly encourage anyone to consider volunteering as a head coach for this season. All age groups will change starting for this Fall and will carry over into the Spring season. Please have a look below at what age group your child would be in for the Fall 2026-Spring 2027 season. Should you choose to play in the Spring, the age groups remain the same.

Registration is open to anyone who wants to participate. No physical is needed, but we highly encourage you to attach your participant's birth certificate to their account information. Please read the Recreation Guidelines and Code of Conduct thoroughly before proceeding.

U16: August 1st, 2010-July 31st, 2011

U15: August 1st, 2011-July 31st, 2012

U14: August 1st, 2012-July 31st, 2013

U13: August 1st, 2013-July 31st, 2014

U12: August 1st, 2014-July 31st, 2015

U11: August 1st, 2015-July 31st, 2016

U10: August 1st, 2016-July 31st, 2017

U9: August 1st, 2017-July 31st, 2018

U8: August 1st, 2018-July 31st, 2019

U7: August 1st, 2019-July 31st, 2020

U6: August 1st, 2020-July 31st, 2021

U5: August 1st, 2021-July 31st, 2022
