Player Registration

Those wishing to register for the Fall 2026 Travel season should register online or download a registration form, complete it, and return to Logan Jones, Director of Programs at Smith River Sports Complex. The address is 1000 Irisburg Rd. Axton, VA 24054.

Refund Policy

Piedmont Youth Soccer League (PYSL) agrees once criteria for a season is met, the Club will not issue refunds. A season is defined as team camp, two weekly practices from August 3rd-September 20th, and three home game dates as assigned by the Virginia Classic Soccer League.

Player Card Release

Once the travel season is underway, and should payments outstanding not be settled at the time of asking for a release, the club can hold the player card until all payment is finalized.

Travel Tryouts

Travel tryouts will take place over at Smith River Sports Complex. We encourage you to register your child now for tryouts.

PYSL Age Chart

The new age chart that US Soccer will be using starting the Fall 2026 season moving forward. Make sure to check to see where your child falls in this chart below.

To register for the 2026 Fall Travel Team Tryouts, please complete the steps below.
1. Go to www.pyslsoccer.net

2. Click on register on the top right hand side if you are a new customer. If you are a returning customer, click on log in and sign in with your id and password and skip to step 5.

3. If you are a new customer, fill in all parent information and click on “create new account”. Remember, the parent is the customer. Proceed on to entering primary contact information and hit “next”.

4. Once you get to “Add new participant” this is the player’s information, fill in all of the proper information and proceed by hitting “next”.

5. At the “My Account” screen, click the check box next to your player (should be green with Available Programs). 2026 PYSL Fall Travel Program should appear as an available program for your player. Click on the “Register” next to the player’s proper age group (i.e. if a player is born in between August 1st, 2011-July 31st, 2012, he should register for U15 Boys or Girls).

6. Click on next and continue to fill in the proper waiver forms and contact information. You should see a “$0.00” next to pay in full. Click on “Continue”.

7. Continue to click on “Continue” until reaching the “Registration Order Summary” page. You will also receive a confirmation email once registration is completed.

To pay for the 2026 Fall Travel Season, please complete the steps below.

1. You will receive an acceptance email from PYSL regarding your placement on the team. Please click the link to that acceptance, or log into your account.

2. On the home page, you will see an accept and decline option under the player's name. If you choose to accept, hit the accept button and click that you understand the policies contract.

3. Afterwards, you will be asked to verify all of the information from the previous steps taken when registering the player. If no changes are needed, hit continue.

4. After clicking through the items you can purchase, you can pay for the season. If a payment plan is available, you can choose a payment plan. Otherwise, it will default towards paying in full.

5. Once a choice is made between a payment plan or paying in full, you can enter in your payment information and complete your payment.

We start a new uniform order contract this year, so all travel players are required to buy new uniforms for the 2025-26 seasons and will carry on until the 2026-27 seasons. These uniform pieces are to be announced later:
