Piedmont Youth Soccer League(PYSL) is a non-profit organization in Martinsville and Henry County VA designed to provide recreational soccer opportunities for boys and girls ranging in age from U-4 to U-18. We also provide the opportunity to participate in our travel soccer program and to compete in the Skyline League. We believe in giving our players every opportunity to compete at a higher level.
The PYSL's mission is to provide our players with the opportunity to participate in a spirited soccer environment and to instill the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, determination, respect for authority and self-esteem in the youth of our community. We are dedicated to providing each player with every opportunity to enhance and develop their skills along with a lifelong love for the game. PYSL is committed to and exists solely for the children under our care. We provide several opportunities throughout the year for them to receive additional instruction through our summer soccer camps, summer open play sessions and Winter Indoor League, as well as opportunities to progress and play travel soccer and take their game to the next level.

PYSL has a drop box for payments available at the Smith River Sports Complex, next to the concession stand. Director of Travel - The Piedmont Youth Soccer League Travel Director is responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the Piedmont Youth Soccer League Travel Program. It is his/her responsibility to ensure that all regulations and policies governing the travel program as dictated by the Piedmont Youth Soccer League, VYSA, US Club Soccer, VPSL or other affiliated associations and leagues are enforced. Main management responsibilities include uniform management, assisting DOC with coaching assignments and compensation, creating an expense budget for the travel program to help set fair and efficient costs for participants, assist in roster building and work with SMC and Tournament Director on the annual Piedmont Shootout Tournament. Will work with the Director of Coaching regularly to ensure the program runs smoothly.
